CODE OF CONDUCT

Turn1 Drivers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on Turn1 both on and off the track.

Turn1 Drivers shall not engage in conduct which management deems to be harmful to the reputation or relationships of Turn1.

In all events and communities Drivers must be respectful of the staff and organisers and of sponsors, partners, Teams and Drivers at all times.

When representing Turn1, Drivers must not use obscene language or offensive comments, including but not limited to:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory behaviour;

  • Language that is deemed by the Turn1 management or community / race organisers to be obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libellous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or inappropriate.

  • Trolling; Posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a Discord, chat room, blog or social media post, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

  • Turn1 Drivers must not use in-game chat in any session to 'call out' or make a comment about another Driver or driving standards and they must not respond if another Driver makes a comment about any Driver whether it be themselves or another Turn1 Driver.

  • Turn1 Drivers must not respond if any inappropriate or offensive comments are directed at them or Turn1. They must raise it with Turn1 Management who will review and the current COO will deal with the matter on behalf of the Driver and the Team.

We want our Drivers to enjoy racing and the great community spirit that we have here, but Turn1 Drivers are reminded that they represent Turn1 and that their conduct should, at all times, meet the expectations of Turn1 Management and sponsors, both during and outside of official team events.
